SP10 Questionnaire

Ooops, I totally thought I'd already done this, but apparently not.

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
I knit with natural fibers and natural fiber blends. I do not and will not knit with acrylics.

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
I'm one of the lucky ones with a Namaste needle binder. Yay!

3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
I've been knitting for almost seven years. I consider myself to be fairly advanced. I can do anything I've tried.

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Amazon

5. What's your favorite scent?
Grapefruit or other citrus.

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
I LOVE gummies and chocolate, but I have to be extremely careful because I have a severe allergy to all nuts. So if the candy's been processed in a plant that processes nuts, I can't have it. :(

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?
I've tried drop spindle and I start a spinning class in April. I've dabbled in beading and a couple other crafty things. I choose not to crochet.

8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
I like almost anything. I'm not super fond of top 40 or modern country.

9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?
I like all colors, but especially blues and greens.

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I'm married and pregnant with my first child (due 9/30). I have a dog, Marley.

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
All but ponchos. They're not exactly slimming.

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
Lately it's been baby stuff.

13. What are you knitting right now?
A baby sleep sack, another baby surprise jacket, and a dog sweater.

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
Of course!

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Circs all the way. I love addi turbos, and pretty much only work with them.

16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
Yep to both.

17. How old is your oldest UFO?
I just finished my oldest (yay!), so now I think my oldest is about a year.

18. What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas

19. Is there anything that you collect?
Dog hair, but that's probably not what you meant. I choose to collect yarn. I've been trying to cut down on other "collections" because we need room in our house for the baby.

20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?
I'm dying for some Socks that Rock. Other than that, I'm spoiled because I work at a yarn shop and can get any patterns, needles, books or magazines for a lovely discount.

21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?
Nope.

22. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?
Yep. I wear a women's 9.5

23. When is your birthday?
